WHO’S THE TOP 10 MC’S OF ALL TIME?

August 23rd, 2007
On Mixent.com we feature some of the best up and coming artists and tons of current favorites but whoever we are featuring, there will always be some MC’s are classic. Here’s The Top 10 list of the Best MC’s Ever, (in no particular order) according to SKI…

BIGGIE: We shouldn’t even have to put a reason here… The Notorious B.I.G. is our favorite rapper of all time. We still miss you Biggie.

TUPAC: Another name that doesn’t need a reason, His work lives on and everyone below him on this list has been quoted that his work influenced theirs. Maybe that’s why all of them are on here too?

NAS: One of hip-hop’s most insightful lyricists, his signature poetic style, great flow and rhythm have made Nas deserve the title as one of the best MC’s of all time.

JAYZ: We’ve got love for both Hova’s music and his smokin’ hot girlfriend, Beyonce.

BIG L: Rumored to have another posthumous album coming out sometime in 2007? We hope so!

JADA: Our Favorite Ruff Ryder…and the best thing to ever come out of Yonkers!

STYLES P: (The Lox) Another Top 10 MC from Yonkers…who knew?

COMMON: Sharp Lyrics combined with a distinctive style make Common another pick for our Top 10.

EMINEM: His album The Slim Shady LP shot Eminem to legendary status and was followed up by more great albums and collaborations. We want another album Em!

Q TIP: (A Tribe Called Quest) His nickname Q-Tip supposedly comes from his ability to get into our ears and it totally fits him. We can’t get him out of our head; luckily that isn’t a problem with this kind of q-tip.

Agree with our picks? Think we missed someone? Leave us a comment and tell us what you think! Who’s in your top 10?
